Noel made 27 dolls for the shelters and tucked in one for me along with a beautiful fabric post card. 
Noel, thank you so much for such a generous donation. The doll you made for me will be treasured. She is beautiful! Front and back is just so detailed, and the fabric postcard will also be displayed in my studio. You are so thoughtful and quite a busy gal with much talent!
Pam's Yahoo group currently has 5 members. Two ladies, Kathorine Wood of PA and CR Bryan of VA made these 11 dolls which Pam kindly collected and shipped to me.

When I saw their fun fabrics and playful pattern with such cute feet, the giggling continued, only this time, from me. How sweet are these little ones? Isn't it sweet?I see Kirsten included a dragonfly , she must love them too because she sent me a beautiful dragonfly rubber stamp. I will use that often. Thank you for your wonderful donations, and for the stamp. I will put it to good use and your dolls are sure to delight their recipients.
Diane collects dolls and swaps with others so she has acquired quite a collection. She has decided to part with some for the Comfort Doll Project. She has enjoyed them and feels the need to offer them to women who would enjoy them as well. I know it is hard to part with your dolls Diane, and I do thank you. Nine women will continue to love them soon.
I recently met Pamela through this project and learned of her website she created for her mother. Her story is heartbreaking. To know your mother doesn't recognize you, and is lost in her own world at times has got to be unbearable. I thank Pam for this site, she did not create it to ask for pity. It is to educate us about Alzheimer's. Among many things, I learned that the color chosen to represent this illness is purple. Imagine that! My favorite color. I took this as a message, a "heads up" if you will.
Orinda included some additional dolls to be given to children. They will be tucked among the 41st shipment.

As my eyes took in the beauty of each doll I removed from the box and held, imagine my gasp when I discovered the watch.
If you love the crazy quilt kitties, Pam is kindly offering to create one for you in her etsy shop. Pam, thanks again for your lovely stitched dolls and comfort hangers. I think these hung on a door of a safe room would bring comfort for sure. A reminder that women are always there supporting each other.

I cannot believe the variety yet again. Bendable dolls,angels,goddess,and cats. I had to get a close up of the tiny cats. These can be tucked in a pocket or worn as a brooch. How delightful!
She is made from soft chenille fabric and pearls. She will also arrive to a shelter in time for Valentine's day. Thank you so much Maryann for your beautiful donation.

9 Comfort Dolls arrived , and each one is cheerful and unique. Nancy even sent a Valentine doll.
These dolls will be sent out in time for Valentine's Day. One day this week.
I will find a shelter for them tomorrow.
This sweet bird is cross stitched with some pulled thread work and cloth wing.
